  According to the obituary for his sister Pauline, he once lived in Akron, Ohio According to his gradnaughter, they lived at North Forge Street After emmigrating to the U.S. at the age of 18 he amercanized his name to C. H. Baumert, He went by the name Henry Baumert after becoming an american. He was very proud to be an american. Fourth of July was a big deal for the family with Henry buying many fireworks. Henry worked at Quaker Oats factory in Akron, Ohio. Later he worked as a mail carrier.
